Rickmers: Restrukturierungskonzept gescheitert

Das Restrukturierungskonzept der Rickmers Gruppe ist gescheitert, teilte die Rickmers Holding am 31. Mai mit. Der Grund sei, dass eine Gläubiger-Bank ihre Zustimmung zu dem Konzept verweigert habe.

Ursprünglich hätte am 1. Juni die große Abstimmung über das Konzept zur finanziellen Restrukturierung der Rickmers Gruppe stattfinden sollen. Nachdem die Bank nicht mitspielt, hat sich die Abstimmung erledigt. Die Folge wird wohl der Insolvenzantrag sein. Wie die Rickmers Holding AG mitteilt, werde nun die Restrukturierung in Eigenverwaltung unter Fortsetzung des Geschäfts- und Schiffsbetriebs angestrebt.

Für die Anleger der 275 Millionen Euro schweren Rickmers-Anleihe bedeutet dies kurzfristig, dass die im Juni fällige Zinszahlung wahrscheinlich ausfallen wird. Darüber hinaus müssen sich die Anleger voraussichtlich auf weitere finanzielle Verluste einstellen. Allerdings hätten die Anleger auch bei einer Umsetzung des Konzepts mit einem erheblichen Kapitalverlust rechnen müssen.

Die Altpapiereinsatzquote bei der Herstellung von Wellpappe liegt seit 2009 konstant bei 100%.

Das bedeutet im Detail, wer 15 Stück DIN A4 Wellpappen Faltschachteln kauft (ca. 2,5 KG) spart damit 5,5 kg Holz. Durch die hohe Recyclingquote werden 7,5 kWh an Energie gespart. Dieses entspricht dem Stromverbrauch von ca. 10 Waschgängen mit Waschmaschine.

Statistisch gesehen wurden im Jahr 2015 bei der Herstellung von Wellpappe mehr als 100% Altpapier eingesetzt. Der Grund ist, die Verunreinigungen aus Druckfarben, Klebe- und Papierhilfsstoffen. Daher gehen etwa 20% der Papierfasern verloren und werden durch mehr Altpapier ersetzt.

Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Verpackungsmaterialien enthält Wellpappe keine Erdölprodukte und ist vollständig erneuerbarer. Der Rohstoff Papier ist eine nachwachsende Ressource, die unerschöpflich ist. Und da die Wälder den Kohlenstoff aus der Atmosphäre aufnehmen, helfen Bäume dabei den Klimawandel zu mindern.
