Juli 2020: Die IFCO Gruppe, der weltweit führende Anbieter von wiederverwendbaren Mehrwegbehältern (Reusable Plastic Containers, RPCs) für frische Lebensmittel, hat das im Frühjahr 2019 aufgenommene Nachrangdarlehen vorzeitig durch eine neue Term Loan B Tranche mit einem Volumen von 200 Millionen Euro refinanziert. Die Emission stieß bei institutionellen Investoren aus dem In- und Ausland auf eine sehr hohe Nachfrage und war mehrfach überzeichnet.

Die neue Tranche hat unverändert eine Laufzeit bis 2026 und ist mit einer Zinsmarge von derzeit 3,5 Prozent p.a. ausgestattet. Damit reduziert sich der Zinsaufwand im Vergleich zum vorherigen Nachrangdarlehen erheblich.

IFCO rüstet sich für weiteres Wachstum

Mit dem neuen Darlehen gelingt es IFCO, den Finanzierungsrahmen für das weitere geplante Wachstum auszubauen und zugleich seinen Zinsaufwand weiter zu senken. Der global operierende Anbieter von wiederverwendbaren Mehrwegbehältern für den Transport frischer Lebensmittel hat bereits in den vergangenen Jahren stark expandiert.
