Hannover - Der Ausbau der Stromnetze in Niedersachsen schreitet voran. Jetzt hat der Netzbetreiber TenneT im Umspannwerk Dörpen nahe Papenburg die Bauarbeiten zum Bau der 380-kV-Höchstspannungsleitung gestartet. Die Leitung soll Windstrom bis ins Ruhrgebiet transportieren.

Mit dem Baubeginn der 380-kV-Leitung von Dörpen nach Meppen in Niedersachsen geht ein weiterer Streckenabschnitt in die Umsetzung. Das Projekt ist zudem das erste von acht Pilotvorhaben zur Erprobung der Teilerdverkabelungsoptionen im Drehstromnetz in Niedersachsen.
