Rohe Eier bergen immer die Gefahr einer Salmonelleninfektion. Die Bakterien können sich sowohl auf der Schale als auch im Eigelb befinden. Salmonellen verursachen Durchfall, Erbrechen und Kopfschmerzen. Da die Symptome für Kinder besonders gefährlich sind, sollten vor allem diese achtsam mit rohen Eiern umgehen. Das Risiko einer Infektion lässt sich aber leicht minimieren: Zunächst ist darauf zu achten, nur frische und unbeschädigte Eier zu verwenden. Vor dem Auspusten die Eier gründlich mit Wasser und Spülmittel reinigen. Anschließend das Händewaschen nicht vergessen. Wer auf Nummer sicher gehen will, kann zum Ausblasen der Eier auch einen dünnen Strohhalm verwenden und so den direkten Kontakt von Mund und Schale vermeiden. Alternativ geben natürlich auch hart gekochte Eier oder Eier aus Holz oder Plastik eine schöne Malfläche ab. Letztere sind außerdem stabiler.

Bei der Sanierung des BMW-Autohauses im sächsischen Riesa musste der beauftragte Handwerksbetrieb deshalb auch gewährleisten, dass der Belag anschließend wieder für die Fahrzeuge des Autoherstellers befahrbar sein würde. Weitere Herausforderung: Der neue Belag musste über alten Bewegungsfugen verlegt werden, die die Heizkreise der Fußbodenheizung voneinander abgrenzen. Das Entkopplungssystem IndorTec FLEXBONE-VA von Gutjahr machte die Verlegung auf dem hochbelasteten Mischuntergrund möglich.
