Das Hermes Logistikzentrum für Großstücke im fränkischen Ansbach hat den Betrieb aufgenommen.

Ansbach, 28. Mai 2020 - Gelungener Start in einer außergewöhnlichen Zeit: Die Hermes Fulfilment Ansbach GmbH und die Hermes Einrichtungs Service GmbH & Co. KG haben ihr neues Logistikzentrum im fränkischen Ansbach in Betrieb genommen. Mit einer Gesamtfläche von 76.000 Quadratmetern - das entspricht in etwa zehn Fußballfeldern - handelt es sich um eine der größten neu entwickelten Immobilien in Bayern. Zugeschnitten ist die hochmoderne Anlage auf die logistische Abwicklung von Möbeln, Elektrogroßgeräten und sonstigen sperrigen Gütern. Die Hamburger ECE hat das Projekt von der ersten Planung über die Bauausführung bis zur schlüsselfertigen Übergabe betreut. Das Investitionsvolumen beläuft sich auf 90 Millionen Euro.

Standortnetzwerk erweitert/Wachstum auch in Polen und in der Türkei

Gütersloh/Jaroslawl - Mit einem neuen Logistikzentrum in Frunse, einem Stadtbezirk von Jaroslawl rund 250 Kilometer nordöstlich von Moskau, baut Arvato Supply Chain Solutions sein Standortnetz in Russland weiter aus. Wenige Monate vor dieser Erweiterung war bereits ein Distributionszentrum in Noginsk im Großraum Moskau in Betrieb genommen worden. Insgesamt verfügt Arvato in Russland nun über sieben Standorte mit rund 1.400 Mitarbeitern.

"Das Logistikzentrum in Frunse, mit dem wir unsere Warehouse-Kapazitäten um rund 15.600 Quadratmeter erweitern, ist für das wachsende E-Commerce-Geschäft eines unserer großen Kunden aus dem Konsumgüterbereich vorgesehen", sagt Nataliya Przystaw, Geschäftsführerin von Arvato Supply Chain Solutions in Russland. Zu diesem Zweck wurde das angemietete Bestandsgebäude, das verkehrsgünstig an der Autobahn M 8 liegt, die Jaroslawl mit Moskau verbindet, nach modernen Standards umgebaut.
