Dies zeigt eine Studie, die unter dem Titel "RUM - Regional, Umweltfreundlich, Mobil" von Ohra Energie beauftragt und durch das Institut für Biogas, Kreislaufwirtschaft & Energie, den Fachverband Biogas und das Thüringer Erneuerbare Energien Netzwerk (ThEEN) durchgeführt wurde.

"Die positiven Ergebnisse der Machbarkeitsstudie stellen einen wertvollen Beitrag zu der Diskussion über alternative, umweltfreundliche und lokal produzierte Kraftstoffe dar", so Jana Liebe, ThEEN-Geschäftsführerin. "Sie bieten Biogasanlagen, die kurz vor dem Auslaufen der Förderung durch das Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz (EEG) stehen, neue Perspektiven".

"Wir glauben, dass Gas - sei es als Erdgas oder erneuerbares Gas, wie zum Beispiel Biogas - in der Energiewende eine wichtige Rolle spielen wird", erklärt Michael Fischer, Geschäftsführer der Ohra Energie.
